Kennesha Forrest grew up in Pittsburg, California in Contra Costa County. Over the years she lived in different cities in Los Angeles County navigating poverty and housing instability.
After experiencing several severe financial and emotional setbacks, she pivoted and created Canvas & Clay and became passionate about becoming a South LA community leader and entrepreneur, all while navigating life as a single mother of five sons.
Canvas & Clay is positioned to be a vehicle for both economic empowerment and community healing.
